Intrinsically Safe Thermal Imaging Cameras for Mining Security Application

Intrinsically Safe Thermal Imaging Camera YRH310 and YRH330 passed national mining security standard approval, securing mining industry’s manufacture and processing.

Our eyes are detectors that are designed to detect visible light, human eye can only see a very small part of the electromagnetic spectrum. When the temperature of mine surface gets higher and our eyes cannot see it thus caused spontaneous combustion.Thermal security cameras make pictures from heat energy that is invisible to the naked eyes, the high and low temperatures marked in different colors so as to spot high-temperature zone and search hidden fire area distribution. This makes them the perfect tools for department of ventilation to control coal spontaneous combustion. High Voltage electrical equipment in the mine keep running day and night. The common type like electric machinery, large-scale hydraulic pump station, transformer substation, rotating bearing and winch generate high temperature after continuous operation, but human cannot notice voltage differences as heat differences as quickly and accurately as thermal imaging cameras. Infrared imaging technology enable the user to detect equipment heat release, overheating and potential accident intuitively in harsh conditions. Whenever such a cable brakes down, there usually is a big problem in terms of productivity, downtime and money lost. Interest and penetration rate for thermal imaging has grown considerably over the last few years in the market of electromechanical department.

Application
1. Prevention of spontaneous combustion caused by coal accumulation

2. Check potential fire area distribution and combustion source location

3. Check roof caving and mining permeable

4. Check the running status of electrical and power equipment

5. Coal mine rescue
